Career Vision and 90-Day Goal Planner
Specific goals. Clear actions. Real progress.
Research in goal-setting theory consistently demonstrates that specific, time-bound goals with concrete action steps outperform vague aspirations by a wide margin (Locke & Latham, 2002). This planner is built on that evidence. It asks three direct questions: where are you now, where do you want to be in 90 days, and exactly what will you do to close that gap. Complete each section with as much specificity as you can. Specificity is the bridge between intention and outcome (Gollwitzer, 1999).
Section 1 — Where I Am Now
Describe your current professional situation honestly. This is your baseline — not a judgment, a starting point.
Section 2 — Where I Want to Be in 90 Days
Write your 90-day goal as a specific, observable outcome — a result, not a task (Locke & Latham, 2002).
Section 3 — My Action Steps
Name the what, the when, and the how. Specific implementation plans produce follow-through (Gollwitzer, 1999).
| Action Step | By When | How / With Whom |

What I Need to Make This Happen
Identifying support needs in advance increases goal achievement (Kossek et al., 1998).
